Dinu Lipatti About
Constantin “Dinu” Lipatti (1917-1950) was born to a musical family in Romania and showed unusual talent as a pianist from an early age. He was known for the exceptional clarity, coolness, and beauty of his interpretations of Bach, Chopin, and Brahms. He also composed a number of pieces, mostly for piano, during his short life. He died of complications from Hodgkin’s disease.
