Camilo Blanes Cortés (September 16, 1946 - September 8, 2019), professionally known as Camilo Sesto, was a Spanish singer, music producer and composer. He was one of the flagship singers of Spain, awarded in 2011 with the "Maximum Hispanic Pride" medal delivered in the city of Las Vegas in the United States. Sesto sang in two pop bands during the 1960s and won a contest on a Madrid television show.
